What to Do When Jailbreak Failed

If you are using UltFone Activation Unlock and having a problem to jailbreak your device. You can follow the instructions in this page to solve.

Situation One. Download Another Checkra1n Version

Please try to download another Checkra1n version when the jailbreak failed.

1. Download a different Checkra1n version through a browser on Mac.

2. Install this version of Checkra1n on Mac. When you run this application on Mac the first time, if you come across a warning window saying "Checkra1n cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified.", please execute a command to run it. Below are the steps.

Open Terminal app on Mac, and follow the instructions below:

  • Enter “xattr –rc” and press the Space bar
  • Drag the downloaded Checkra1n to the command window
    • drag Checkra1n to the command window on mac
  • Press Return and you will see the result as shown on the below image.

Situation Two: If You See an Error Code During Jailbrearking

If you failed to jalbraek and see an error code, please follow the instructions below to fix.

Error code: -20

From the promt window, please select Safe Mode option and click Start to jailbreak again.
